Cyclists in this year’s Tour of Hope have set off. They left yesterday from Edmundston, and on Sunday, they will arrive in Moncton.

The 650 kilometre tour includes several stops, in Campbellton, Grand-Anse, Miramichi and Moncton.

There are around 70 riders taking part in the event that raises money for cancer research and care in New Brunswick.

It is a fundraiser that is held in support of the Tree of Hope campaign.

Last year, the cyclists raised $113, 000 .
