Cyclist killed in downtown Fredericton crash

A cyclist has died after being involved in a collision with a vehicle in downtown Fredericton.

Emergency crews responded to the intersection of Westmorland and King streets around 5 p.m. Saturday.

A man was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead, according to police.

Investigators said they are not releasing any other details about the victim at this time.

No charges have been laid as police continue their investigation.
