The Court of Appeal in Fredericton has dismissed an appeal by Curtis Bonnell.
He was looking for a new trial, but his appeal was denied.
Bonnell was found guilty of first degree murder in the death of his cousin Hilary Bonnell in 2009. He was sentenced to life in prison with no parole eligibility for 25 years.
Hilary disappeared from the Esgenoopetitj First Nation on Sept. 5, 2009, and her body was found two months later.
