Striking CUPE Workers Plan To Rally In Fredericton

Members of CUPE will be joined by other frontline workers and supporters at a march and rally in Fredericton on Tuesday.

March #1 begins at the Lady Beaverbrook Rink on University Avenue while March #2 leaves from FREX on Smythe Street.

Both marches begin at noon and will converge on the legislature at 1 p.m. as MLAs return to work.

The members of CUPE are seeing strong support at picket lines throughout the province.

They are hoping to see that same support in Fredericton on Tuesday.
