UPDATE: N.B. athlete competes in men’s 110m hurdles

A New Brunswick track and field athlete was back in action at the Paris Olympics on Tuesday.

Craig Thorne of Quispamsis competed in the repechage round of the men’s 110m hurdles.

The 23-year-old placed 5th in his heat with a time of 13.62 seconds, but did not secure a spot in the semifinal on Wednesday afternoon.

It is Thorne’s first time competing at the Olympics.
