Court Appearance Scheduled For Man Charged With First Degree Murder

A man facing charges in the death of an Upper Coverdale man, will appear in court today.

Fifty-one-year-old old Donald Kyle is charged with the first degree murder of 19-year-old Evan Straight.

RCMP went to an Osprey Road home in Upper Coverdale on Sunday night, where they found Straight suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound.

He was taken to hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Kyle was arrested at the scene.

He is scheduled to appear in Moncton court at 1:30 this afternoon.
