Coon Looks Forward To 2019

Green party leader David Coon has a wish list for 2019 involving the legislature and he is hoping everyone can get along in the new year.

Coon said he has seen some of that but was promised a whole lot more than he has seen thus far.

“Collaboration in this minority government that the premier has continually spoken of actually materializes in a substantive and meaningful way involving all parties,” Coon said.

Coon said his caucus is eager to keep the Blaine Higgs government on its toes and he is looking forward to a promise by the premier coming to fruition soon.

“Restoring the authority of the legislative assembly and reducing the medelling of the premier’s office in the work of the legislative assembly will be priorities,” he said.
