UPDATE: Services Being Suspended At YMCA of Greater Moncton

Another centre in Greater Moncton is closing temporarily as a result of COVID-19.

As of 8pm tonight, the YMCA will close its Health, Fitness and Aquatics Centre and suspend membership-based programs until March 30.

On March 16th, Licensed Child Care and After School programs closed following a provincial announcement mandating the closures.

“Our charity is responding to COVID-19 across all of our programs,” said YMCA of Greater Moncton CEO Zane Korytko. “The health of our staff, volunteers, participants and the broader community is our priority.”

The Reconnect Street Intervention Program and the Greater Moncton Supportive Housing Program will also continue to operate.

Ongoing updates will be provided through their Facebook page and website. ·
