Colour The Cats! Winners

Last month 91.9 The Bend collaborated with the Moncton Wildcats to Colour The Cats! This is where YOU got to decorate a Wildcats jersey however you wanted! Not only did we get some fabulously designed jerseys- we saw our community come together with their creativity and love of their favourite team! Dex & Catarina got to announce two winners that will be visiting every Wildcats home game in March.

First Place Winner:

Natasha won four tickets to each home game in March with this design. Here is what her entry said about her creative process and design:

My jersey is made of the wildcat colours and has swirls going around it to represent the way the players move around the ice. Two birds on the shoulder outlined in gold represents freedom we have on and off the ice. Two shooting stars under the logo show dreams coming true when you shoot for them and the red stripes around the neck and wrists reminding Canadians of those socks we all have at least one pair of. 🙂 Go Wildcats!

Second Place Winner:

Lila won two tickets to each home game in March with her design. Here is what Lila had to say about her design and 91.9 The Bend:

Hi, my name is Lila Kervin and I am 10 years old. I LOVE 91.9 The Bend. I listen to it everyday on the drive to school with my mom and my brother Owen. It would be my dream to win. I love hockey…and Tara, Dex, and Catarina. I hope you get to see this! P.S. I am a BIG fan and congratulations to all the Wildcats players. I chose this design because I wanted to put every player’s number and I wanted it to be colourful. I hope you enjoyed my letter, BYE
