UPDATE: Part of Route 15 reopens near Shediac after collision

Route 15 near Shediac has reopened after an early‑morning collision.

The RCMP first reported the closure in a social media post shared around 6:30 a.m., saying the affected stretch was between Grand-Barachois and Shediac.

In an update posted at 11:30 a.m., Mounties said Route 15 had reopened.

The Town of Shediac said the collision happened between the Ohio Road exit and Haute-Aboujagane.

The town added that its fire department had asked drivers to avoid the area and use an alternate route so emergency crews could work safely and efficiently.

No additional details about the collision have been released.
