Saturday, The Bend took part in Coldest Night of the Year, a national walkathon to raise money for programs to help homeless and at-risk teenagers and young adults. The money raised in Greater Moncton will go to a transitional housing program and Youth Quest Central, which is a drop in centre for, well, homeless and at-risk young people. I walked 5k with some of the clients at Youth Quest. They were really sweet kids. If you ever have the chance to help out Youth Quest, please do so. 🙂
