Codiac Transpo working to address Green Line delays

Recent changes for Codiac Transpo are causing headaches for some commuters in Moncton.

The transit agency made a series of service adjustments that took effect this past Sunday.

But changes that have people talking the most are the ones made to the 51 Green Line.

The route was extended further north on Mountain Road to just past the Magnetic Hill entrance.

A number of people have taken to social media to say those changes have led to delays and overcrowded buses.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, Codiac Transpo said it is aware of the concerns riders have expressed.

“The extension has been incredibly popular, which has contributed to the delays,” said the post.

Codiac Transpo said it is actively using data from its GPS to find a solution.
