Codiac Transpo warns of fake social media post

If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

Codiac Transpo is issuing a warning about a fake social media post.

It is promoting a “limited edition” pass offering six months of free service.

In a Facebook post, Codiac Transpo said this is not a legitimate offer.

“We are not offering any limited-edition transit cards or free service through third-party links,” it said.

“Codiac Transpo will never ask for your credit card information in exchange for free rides.”

Saint John Transit also issued a warning about a similar post making the rounds.
