Senior Transit Planner Marie-Claire Pearce admits it has taken a long time to recover the ridership that was lost after the labour dispute.
The ultimate goal is to increase bus ridership in Metro Moncton by at least two percent over the next year.
Pearce says Codiac Transpo has employed a marketing firm to come up with a new strategy for the bus system.
She encourages people who may have never taken the bus before, to consider giving it a try.
