Codiac RCMP are investigating the armed robbery of a Subway restaurant early this morning.
Officers say a man entered the Subway at 1380 Mountain Road around 1 in the morning armed with a weapon and demanded money from an employee.
The employee wasn’t injured and the suspect fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The RCMP say the investigation is ongoing with the help of both police dogs and forensic investigators.
The suspect is described as a man of average height and build.
He was wearing dark-coloured clothing and his face was covered.
He was also carrying a backpack.
