Shortly before 11 last night, Codiac RCMP were called to a residence in the North End.
Corporal MacLean says a 20-year old man had been out biking near Gagné Crescent when he was sprayed by what is believed to be bear spray.
MacLean says the man was taken to hospital where he was treated and released.
The RCMP do not have a suspect in custody, and are continuing the investigation.
