Codiac RCMP Identify Bank Robbery Suspect

Codiac RCMP have identified and charged a 32-year-old man in connection with a brazen bank robbery in Moncton.

Police captured an image of Troy Faye from video surveillance and are still looking for the suspect.

The robbery took place during the lunch hour yesterday at the Scotiabank on St. George Street.

Officers say the man was armed with a knife when he demanded money from the tellers and he later fled on foot with an amount of cash.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Troy Faye.

Faye is described as a 5’8” tall and approximately 200 lbs.

He has light brown hair with a receding hairline.

He has blue eyes, a scruffy beard and tattoos on his neck and hands. He also has a nose piercing.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Troy Faye or about the bank robbery is asked to contact the Codiac Regional RCMP at (506) 857-2400.

If you see Troy Faye, do not approach him and contact police immediately.
