As part of its ongoing effort to curb prostitution, Codiac RCMP arrested ten men for attempting to buy services from sex trade workers.
The arrests were made in the area of Dufferin Street, Park Street, and St. George Street last night.
According to the news release, the men were from Moncton, Cap-Pelé, Petitcodiac, Irishtown and Sussex ranging in age from 24 to 67 years old.
Corporal Jacques Cloutier is urging the public to call police if they see vehicles stopping along the street that they believe are trying to buy sexual services.
Cloutier asks people note down the make, model and colour of the vehicle, and if possible the licence plate number.
All of the arrested men were later released with a promise to appear in court November 15th.
