The City of Moncton is requesting the cooperation of residents for a water meter replacement program.
The phased 10 year program is going to replace approximately 18,000 out of date water meters.
The new meters will be replaced at no cost to the tenant or owner, and will help reduce long term maintenance costs.
Notices to set up hour long appointments will be delivered only to houses that haven’t had meters installed or upgraded over the last decade.
Appointments will be available Mondays and Tuesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Wednesdays to Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
