City Of Moncton Looks At Park and Playground Upgrades

The City of Moncton is looking at upgrades to several of its parks as a part of the Master Recreation plan that was adopted in 2010.

One of those parks is in the Valhalla Estates neighbourhood in the Northend of the city on Monte Carlo Crescent. The City is currently looking for feedback from residents.

Community Development Officer with Parks and Rec Nadine Melanson-Leblanc says they’re looking at several improvements, including repairs to drainage, better connections to all of the trails, and even a water feature at that park.

Upgrades to the Valhalla neighbourhood park could be underway as early as this fall.

The City is also looking at making changes to Holland Park, and René-Arthur Fréchet Park.
