The Magnetic Hill Concert Site has been a fairly quiet place since Bruce Springsteen played there in August 2012.
But the City of Moncton believes its new concert strategy will be the right ticket to land another big act.
Economic Development and Events G-M Maurice Belliveau says optimism has been growing lately.
He says, “We are getting good vibes, and more movement and more discussions on dates and budgets than we have in the past.”
The city’s new concert strategy includes creating an events board with members of the community, partnering with higher levels of government and seeking private sector support.
Meantime, a Christian rock festival “East to West 2015” will be staged on the Hill next July with tickets now on sale.
