Dieppe residents have been enjoying a new skating oval since before Christmas, but they’re invited to the official opening of the rink.
It will be held tomorrow night during the Fun on Ice concert series.

Mayor Yvon Lapierre is ready to lace up his skates, “I will certainly be skating on the 6th of January. I have to get my skates sharpened, and I will have a few loops around the oval to kick things off.”
The new refrigerated oval is 140 metres long and five metres wide, and it will be open from December until March.
Festivities will be held starting at 6 o’clock at Place 1604, located behind Dieppe City Hall.
