Two men have been charged in Edmonton for the fatal hit and run last weekend which killed 34 year old Ryan Jimmo, the former U-F-C fighter, who grew up in Saint John and attended St. Malachy’s High School where he played football and was captain of the chess club.
23 year old Anthony Getschel is charged with second degree murder, criminal negligence causing death, dangerous driving causing death and failing to remain at the scene of accident involving death. 21 year old Jordan Wagner is charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
Police say Jimmo died after being run over by a vehicle in a parking lot following a brief argument. The two accused didn’t know who Jimmo was.
