Masking guidelines are changing at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.
Patients will now be required to wear a mask in the direct patient care environment.
This is due to an increase in positive COVID-19 cases and outbreaks within the facility, affecting patients and healthcare workers.
As of December 8, 2023, social visits are temporarily suspended in the following units due to a COVID-19 outbreak :
– General surgery unit (4A)
– Surgery unit (4E)
– Medicine unit (4C)
– Nephrology unit (4F)
