A new scam is targeting casinos in the Maritimes.
Fake ads on Facebook and Instagram feature logos, pictures and employees from Casino Nova Scotia, and Casino New Brunswick.
The scam promises bonuses and promotions to those who download an app.
In a statement, owners Great Canadian Entertainment say there are no apps for either casino.
They say it’s a phishing attempt by the scammers.
The company has a ‘report ad’ option on its website, and encourage you to reach out if you see anything suspicious.
