Case Of COVID-19 Found At Mount Allison University

Members of the Mount Allison University community have been notified of a positive case of COVID-19 within the campus.

While the individual does not live on the grounds exposure notices have been released for the following locations.

  • Thornton House — Friday, March 19 from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Fitness Centre — Friday, March 19 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Anyone who may have been present is asked to monitor for symptoms but is not required to self-isolate.

Public Health is in the process of contact tracing and the school is reminding students to remain vigilant.

Attendees are asked to answer phone calls with ‘no caller ID’, and advised to not take additional precautions unless contacted by Public Health.
