Cardy Thinks A Judicial Review Can Settle The English/French Bus Debate

Clarifying the rules of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms is what is needed when it comes to french and english students riding the bus together.
Provincial NDP Leader Dominic Cardy says a judicial rev it would clearly answer if buses are under the constitution of the charter.

Meanwhile, Cardy says there is a teacher shortage at francophone schools in the province.

He says there are french kids going a school in Fredericton who sit in the cafeteria not learning anything if their regular teacher if off sick because they don’t have any supply teachers.

Cardy says the way to protect french culture is to make sure french kids actually get taught instead of worrying about the buses.
