Canada Day: What’s open and closed in Greater Moncton

Canada Day is a statutory holiday in New Brunswick, which means many places normally open on a weekday will not be.

Malls, big-box stores and most grocery stores will be closed on Tuesday.

If you need a prescription, some drug stores will be open reduced hours.

NB Liquor and Cannabis NB stores will be closed, but agency liquor outlets will be open.

Banks, post offices, and all government offices will also be closed, and there will be no mail delivery.

Codiac Transpo buses will be operating on a reduced schedule.

Meanwhile, many communities are holding events to celebrate Canada Day. We have posted a list here.
