CAA Worst Roads Campaign To Launch In April

Have you experienced any bad roads lately? Perhaps there are lots of potholes, or it’s just a really bumpy ride overall…

CAA will launch its 7th annual Worst Roads campaign, on April 3rd and they will be asking for your submissions…

Spokesperson for Atlantic Canada Gary Howard says there were several from New Brunswick that made the list last year…

“Last year New Brunswick came in number two, the Pine Glen Road, Dawson Road which is in Hillsborough, the New Brunswick 105 in Upper Kent and the New Brunswick 616 which is in Keswick Ridge,” Howard says.

The public is invited to vote on the worst roads for 2018.

“We have a google maps on the site, so you choose a road and you make a vote. You can only vote for one road once. You can vote for as many roads as you want, but only one road once during the whole campaign.”

The campaign wraps up on April 18th..

Howard says the purpose of the campaign is to help open up communications between the government, and the public, with regards to safety, and the importance of our roads for tourism and for industry.
