A major job ahead for the snow plows this morning in the City of Moncton.
They’re out in full force today getting all of the main arteries cleared.
Acting Supervisor for the night plow crew with the City of Moncton David Broughton says it was a very challenging day yesterday because of all of the blowing snow.
He says, “Everybody went home last night to get a rest, because everyone worked quite a few hours yesterday. They only had the required plows out last night, but they’re out if full force today getting all of the main arteries cleared…
He expects they’ll have the area looking pretty good by tomorrow night, just in time for the arrival of another potential winter blast.
Broughton says, “Welcome to winter. It’s back.”
