Bursary recipients chosen for 2026 Three Father’s Run

Six high school students in Greater Moncton have received bursaries in honour of three fallen RCMP officers.

The Three Father’s Memorial Run bursary pays tribute to Constables Doug Larche, Dave Ross and Fabrice Gevauden, who died tragically in the line of duty on June 4, 2014.

The run was launched the same year in their memory, but in 2025, organizers decided to discontinue it, and are still providing bursaries to the six high schools within the Codiac RCMP region.

The lucky recipients for 2026 are Gabrielle Stevens at Moncton High School, Kendric Campbell from Bernice MacNaughton High School, Sofia Doherty MacLean of Harrison Trimble High School, Mitchel Young of Riverview High School, Zoe Allain from Mathieu Martin High School, and Valerie McSheffery from L’Odysee High School/

Each receives a $1000 bursary for their community involvement, volunteerism, and commitment to making a positive difference.
