Dennis Oland’s trial for second-degree murder is scheduled to run September 16th-December 18th.
Jury selection for the trial will begin September 8th.
Normally 250 to 300 potential jurors are called but for this case they are calling five times as many.
The 46 year old Dennis Oland was back in court this afternoon facing a charge of second degree murder in the death of his father, Richard, in July of 2011.
The 69 year old businessman was violently killed at his Canterbury Street office.
Dennis Oland’s family have said they are confident Dennis will be found innocent.
