BREAKING NEWS: Justin Bourque Sentencing Hearing About To Get Underway

A full courthouse for the two day sentencing hearing for Justin Bourque. It is just getting underway in Moncton court. For the first time in almost five years, an overflow room was required because of the number of media, and members of the public who are in attendance.

Justin Bourque showed no emotion as he entered the courtroom. His hair has been cut, and he has a full beard.

Constable Eric Dubois who was one of two officers injured in the shooting incident is in the courtroom today.

There will be victim impact statements entered as evidence, and a statement by Justin Bourque will be played in court as well.

Bourque has pleaded guilty to three counts of first degree murder and two counts of attempted murder in connection with the tragic shootings of three RCMP officers on June 4th in Moncton.
