Break-in and theft at Sackville business

Mounties are turning to the public for help as they investigate a break-in and theft at a Sackville business.

Police say the incident happened on Mallard Drive between 3:30 a.m. and 5:20 a.m. on Sept. 19.

Someone broke into the lumberyard and stole 26 packs of roof shingles and four rolls of roofing material.

“The individual used a black Ford F-150 and broke his passenger side mirror in the process,” RCMP said in a news release on Tuesday.

The suspect is described as a man in his mid-30s who was wearing a green bandana on his face, a red t-shirt with a black hoodie, blue jeans and black shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Sackville RCMP at 506-533-5151 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
