Mounties are asking for help in their investigation of a break, enter and theft at a seasonal business in Shediac.
RCMP say a report came from the Hotel du View Port on Main Street last Friday (April 3).
It’s believed the crime took place sometime in the previous two-week period.
Numerous items were stolen including a statue, dishwasher, washer and dryer and several historical framed photos.
“We want to remind the public to frequently check on their seasonal properties,” said Sgt. Alice Desroches with the Shediac RCMP. “We also encourage residents to report any instances of suspicious behaviour or activity to police.”
Anyone with information about the break and enter or the stolen items should contact the Shediac RCMP at 506-325-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, or online at www.crimenb.ca
