A boil water order for a large portion of central Moncton has been lifted.
City of Moncton officials say water testing results have been reviewed with the provincial health department and the water is safe to consume again.
If you’ve been away from home for a few days, you’re being advised to run your taps for a few minutes to flush out the plumbing.
A major water main break on Edgett Avenue earlier this week had prompted the boil water order.
The Boil Water Advisory has been rescinded in the affected area (see map). Info: https://t.co/x4BLACmoaY #Moncton pic.twitter.com/V1KZRapuHd
