Do you love to blog? There is an event coming to Moncton that might interest you.
The 4th annual BlogJam will be held in the Hub City this fall.
Program Director Renee Downs says they have found an increasing number of bloggers in New Brunswick, “Here in Atlantic Canada, we have found that, for such a small region of Canada, we have a lot of amazing bloggers and a lot of amazing voices and out events bring those voices together.”
Downs says most of the bloggers are women, and they would like to see more men at their event, to learn more about it.
“Our event brings very, shall we say, some shy and quiet people out of the basement to come and network and meet other bloggers and find common interests and building communities.”
BlogJam Atlantic is still in its planning stages. Downs says, it will be held October 27 and 28th, but there is still much work to be done, “We will be putting out our call for sponsors, our call for speakers, as well as early bird ticketing, that is all coming soon. We just wanted to get the word out there to let people know.”
