Blizzard Barreling Toward New Brunswick

Believe it or not, another blizzard is taking aim at Southern New Brunswick later this weekend.

Environment Canada meteorologist Claude Cote says the storm will arrive Sunday morning with snow and strong, gusty winds.

“We’re looking at winds from the north, northeast gusting to 70-75 km/h, mostly in the afternoon and the evening.”

Cote says the blizzard will produce whiteout conditions and create poor visibility.

By the time the storm tapers off late Sunday into early Monday, we could have up to 40 cm of additional snow on the ground.
