Over 50 inquiries have come in to Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Greater Moncton since the plea was put out a couple of weeks ago for more volunteers.
Executive Director Peter Macdonald says it’s easy to volunteer, as long as you meet their age criteria.
You must be 18 year old or older. Macdonald says they even see seniors who want to be a Big Brother or Big Sister.
He says currently they have 48 boys and 17 girls waiting for the right match.
