Volunteer

The Ultimate Membership: Become a Volunteer!

The gift of volunteering is priceless. Nothing feels better than knowing you are making a difference in a young person’s life. When you volunteer, not only do you benefit, but more importantly, the children and youth benefit! We encourage YOU to help. Whether you are an individual or with a group, all hands and hearts are welcome. There are various opportunities to accommodate your busy schedule. You must be 16 years of age or older to volunteer.

Volunteers working with youth must complete a BGC Dieppe volunteer application, a Social Development Record Check and a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check. The background check is for your protection and for the protection of our members. Once the Province has cleared the requests, you can be placed into a rewarding volunteer position. The process takes approximately two weeks.

General Volunteer Opportunities:

We want to make your volunteer experience with the Club as meaningful and convenient as possible. There are various areas where your volunteer service would be greatly appreciated, such as:

  • Mentor a child.
  • Provide job shadowing opportunities.
  • Help train youth on computers.
  • Provide homework assistance/tutoring.
  • Teach digital photography, computer arts or other art techniques.
  • Start a choir or teach a dance class.

Donate Now!

Now is your chance to help make a difference in a child’s life by supporting BGC Dieppe! Every dollar you donate stays in Dieppe and goes towards child and youth programming which is provided by the Club. We are committed to help all children and youth in Dieppe by providing a positive environment where they can participate in quality programs. With your donation, we can continue to do just that!

By supporting the Club, you can be a part of fostering ambitions and creating brighter futures. There are many ways that you can make a donation to the Club.
