Canadian Tire is voluntarily recalling Master Chef Barbecue lighters, due to a safety issue.
Health Canada has determined that the lighters do not meet regulations and may pose a fire or burn hazard.
The flames may exceed the allowable flame height…and could continue to burn after the trigger mechanism is released.
Over 52, 000 of the lighters were sold in Canada between May 2016 and June 2018.
There have been no reports of any injuries.
The product should be returned to the store where purchased for a full refund.
