BBBS Of Greater Moncton Receives Funding Boost

Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Greater Moncton has received some welcome news.

The Crane Fund for Widows and Children has announced it will be giving the organization a cheque for $10,000 U.S.

The Crane Fund makes contributions to charities in communities where the Crane Company operates.

Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Greater Moncton was forced to downsize in 2016 after it struggled to make ends meet and two of three employees were let go last fall.

But the organization received good news in November after a Medavie Blue Cross fundraiser brought in more than $160,000.
