Basketball Booster Club Ready To Support Moncton Magic

The former Moncton Miracles Nation booster club, is excited for what’s to come with the arrival of a new team this fall.

President Dee Steeves says she plans to meet with Club members in the coming months to talk about the Moncton Magic, “We’ll have a meeting, probably in September, and once we know the logo and the colours, we’ll make up our logo. I am requesting a meeting with the Ownership, so that I can let them know what the booster club is ready to do for them, especially with the season starting earlier. I’ll ask them if there is anything more we can do for them, or if there is anything they would like us to do.”

Steeves says she was somewhat surprised by the announcement last week, but she is thrilled with the new ownership, “I knew things had to change, something had to happen. I know things are going to go up, up, up from here.”

It was announced last week, that the Moncton Magic would replace the Moncton Miracles in the National Basketball League of Canada, under three new Owners, Jon Manship, David Booth, and Jeremy Milburn.
