Barnaby man wins $1M lottery prize, plans to share with sisters

Gerard Regan of Barnaby, N.B., won a $1 million Maxmillions prize in the Nov. 19 Lotto Max draw and is excited to use his new rewards.

Regan deposits $36 into his account every Sunday and has always hoped to win

“I’m going to make other people happy with it,” he said in a news release from Atlantic Lottery.

He plans to share his winnings with his three sisters and has no plans to spend any of the prize money himself.

Regan doesn’t see his routine changing from the Lotto Max draw and wants to share it with others.

“I’ll still take my neighbour’s dog for a walk every day, just like I do now,” he said.
