Autumn Officially Arrives Today

We will bid farewell to summer later today in New Brunswick when autumn officially begins at 5:02 this afternoon.

So what can we expect weather-wise over the next three months?

After the driest summer in 20 years, Weather Network meteorologist Michael Carter says we should pick up more precipitation this fall.

“The interior of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick have been quite dry through a lot of the summer. Fortunately I think with the warm water that is in place, we should start to see precipitation increasing through the fall season.

Carter believes much of that precipitation could come from storms noting how busy the Atlantic hurricane season has been so far this year.
