ATVer Found Dead After Vehicle Leaves Trail

A 31-year-old man from Bois-Gagnon has died after an ATV left a trail in the Upper Rivière-du-Portage area.

RCMP launched a search of the area yesterday, at around 12:40am, after a second ATVer came across tracks, that left the trail and went down to a nearby brook.

The vehicle was located, but there was no sign of the driver.

The man was found dead in the water a short distance away.
