The Atlantic Growth Strategy was the main focus of a meeting held in Summerside PEI by the Atlantic Premiers and federal cabinet ministers.
Premier Brian Gallant says ” by working together, we can keep growing Atlantic Canada’s economy”.
The five priorities for the strategy are attracting and retaining a skilled workforce, fostering greater business innovation, reaching climate change targets and advancing clean growth.
Other priorities creating long-term growth and high-quality jobs through trade, investment and tourism and supporting growth and connecting people through infrastructure.
The premiers and federal cabinet ministers also talked about their upcoming trade mission to China.
