Codiac RCMP are investigating an armed robbery at the Scotiabank branch at 796 Mountain Road.
Police say a man, who was at an ATM machine making a deposit, was approached by a suspect armed with what appeared to be a handgun.
The suspect demanded money and then fled with the cash.
No one was hurt.
The suspect is described as a white male, tall, with a skinny build and dark-coloured hair. He was wearing a hat, a dark-coloured shirt and a jacket.
