Another Increase To The Canada Child Benefit

The federal government is raising the Canada Child Benefit once again, as part of its commitment to improving the lives of hard working middle class families.

Minister of Families, Children and Social Development, Ahmed Hussen says this to help families keep pace with the cost of living.

This is on top of the one-time additional $300 recipients received this spring as part of the government’s response to COVID-19.

The maximum benefit will now be $6,765 per child under age 6 and $5,708 per child age 6 through 17.
