Annual Turkey Drive-Thru To Be Held This Year

COVID-19 is going to mean the 23rd annual Sue Stultz and Moncton Firefighters turkey drive will look a little different this year.

Founder Sue Stultz says the annual campaign that sees thousands of turkeys donated down back at the St. George Boulevard fire station is going ahead.

But this year, it’ll be known as the Sue Stultz and Moncton Firefighters turkey drive thru.

There will also be less days to get your donations in.

3216 turkeys are needed this year, that’s down from last year thanks to hundreds of donations that came in following last year’s drive.

Turkey donations can be dropped off, via the drive thru on December 2, 3 and 4th.

Pylons will be set up down back at the fire station, for cars to make their way through, and volunteers will collect the turkeys from each vehicle.

Monetary donations are also encouraged via the Sue Stultz turkey drive website.

Stultz says this year, it cost $25 per turkey to purchase.
